The chickens have been on the left side of the lawn (looking from the house to the water), it's where the most sun is, and is away from the hedge where potential nasty cats can hide.
Blah has done her darndest to stay on the left side of the path. In fact, they didn't even venture onto the path until a couple of days ago.
Then they started to pick and scratch on the right side of the lawn. It was a big moment.
