Day 12

I just did a proper candling. MY heart skipped a beat when I saw the wee chick move inside the first egg! SO wonderful. Quite a few of those bacterial spots on a couple of ours but I wonder if its actually something to do with the shell formation? I was just going to do 2 but decided to check them all so I could remove any if needed. They all were moving and I could see great air pockets and veins. I am not entirely sure about the Blue laced wyandotte but am assuming it was my set up rather than the chicken.
Ooooh I cant wait! and now am going to leave Captain hook alone as she obviously does know what shes doing;)
I spent a good hour this morning weeding and shovelling the shell around in the run so that its lovely when the chicks come. I got some wood at the dump shop on Sunday to build a door and when we pick up Kaya today we are going to Bunnings to get hinges and a latch. All terribly important and exciting.
